So first off I raced my friend today. My truck is a 2001 F-150 2WD with a 4.6 and auto trans. My friends truck is a 2000 GMC 1500 2WD with a 5.3 and auto trans. Pretty even off the line both of us were burning out for the first 100 feet. Once he got traction he pulled ahead about 2 truck lengths and after that he stayed 2 lengths ahead for the rest of the way.

My goal is to beat him. I here all these good things about the Diablosport. What kind of gains should I expect? What about increased fuel mileage?

It's hard to say, My truck has a 5.4L and is a 4x4, but I got better throttle response, 1.5mpg better on the highway and more towing power. It should be enough to help you beat that chevy on the 93 octane setting if you can keep the tires from spinning. It will also make the tranny shift faster, so you will gain a little there too.
