2005 F-150 Aux. Input Question
I have a 2005 F-150 with the Audiophile sound system and 6 disc MP3 CD player. I just bought the Harman Kardon Drive+Play system for connecting my iPod to the stereo system without using the terrible FM transmitters. I've been told there is no adapter out yet that will convert from the pinned aux. input connection on the factory radio to RCA plugs (red and white) that the Drive+Play needs to connect. Does anyone know if this is true, and if not, where can i get it. Any help will be appreciated (especially if anyone has hooked up the Drive+Play in their truck).
Also, can anyone suggest a good FM transmitter for the iPod Video in the event I can not hook up the D+P. I tried the Griffin iTrip, but the signal is much to weak.

after 2.5 years, there are finally a few aux adapters for the Ford radio. The F150 radio has a special communcation protocol called Canbus that makes simple aux inputs not possible. PIE now has a canbus adapter for the F150 and many on the board are using it.
the only factory connection that has aux inputs is the factory DVD player.
hope this helps
