just like the title states we lost the last key to our 04 f350 drw plow truck. called up the locksmith guy wants 899 to come and try to get a key cut and he says he might even be able to do it. we got about 2" of snow on the ground and would like to use the truck tonight, we are trying to see if we cann just hotwire it for the time being. so far we found this:

starter wire is green
ignition wires are red/ lt. green or white slash yellow
acessory is gray/yellow and red/black

before i let my guys go out there and try to touch wires together does anyone know the correct wires to touch. I dont want them shorting anything out.

 

Don't bother, without the key the steering will be locked.

 

Do you have the key code to take to the dealer? Also I think they can search that with your VIN.... Good Luck
