Need Engine Perches for 1978 ford f-100 with 1970 351 cleveland

I'm installing a 1970 351 Cleveland in a 1978 F-100 pickup . The original motor was a 300 inline 6. I am looking for the correct Perches to mount the 351 Cleveland for this truck, can anyone help me on this? I've been told that a 1973 -> 1979 351 or 400 will work. Is this true? And were can I find a set of these PERCHES.

Thanks

Any small block perches from these trucks should work. The 6 perches MIGHT work by moving the drivers side (I think) back. My brother put an FE in a I6 truck this way. Have a look.

I am completing the exact install you are asking about. If you have a 4x4 the only mount tower that will work are from 302, 351 windsor and 351 cleveland engines. I don't believe the 78 came with a 351 lcleveland. The 6 cyl towers cannot be moved and use original bolt mountings. The 351m and 400 are a big block and the towers are different. I cannot be sure the difference for the 2wd drive trucks if you have that model.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU USED TO COMPLETE YOUR CHANGE OUT. MY MOTOR IS FROM A 1970 MERCURY CYCLONE. I KNOW THE BLOCK IS THE SAME AS THE 351M OR 400. MY TRUCK IS A 2WD.

The block is not identical to a 351M or 400 because those blocks have a taller deck height. Finding a set of towers from a 302 or the 351/400 should work. Expect the heads to be very close to the firewall.
