Need Oil Filler Tube

I have to find a oil filler tube for my sons 89 5ltr.. anyone know eher I can find one or maybe a way to keep it inside the block. It keeps coming out and blowing oil all over the place

Check Auto Zone or NAPA,they should have it.

Hmm we don't have Auto Zone up here but I can try NAPA...didn't think about a part store

The oil filler tube should have a tab that bolts onto the exhaust manifold (I think) or somewhere else along the top that keeps it from going anywhere. Try a wrecking/salvage yard or E-bay.

it dose have a tube but it still sldes out from where it enters the engine...I'm trying to find-out whtat keps it in that hole...must be some sort of gasket or something...the only yard I can get to that has this engine is curently under water..got to wait

There is a seal that goes in the hole to keep the oil in.....

Yes I assumed there should be some sort of seal, now I wonder where I can one. They might not even sell them only as maybe a part of the assembled tube..but we are missing that seal.

It's probably part of the bottom end seal / gasket kit. There was another guy on here a while ago -> it was you! I just did a search and we beat this one to death back in January! lol

haha I still havn't fixed it either I just ordered a new tube from Ford ...20.00
