nice, I like those things. When I was little I thought they were made by VW. with the rounded nose they kinda do. Still an interesting truck no matter who you are.

Yep...VW did make one, and so did Dodge, and so did Chevrolet.

well there you go. Thanks texas. I remember the dodge one from the "little red wagon" but the chevy I wasn't aware of.

Chevy was the Corvair line with a flat air cooled six in the back just like the cars. One thing nice about the Corvair was a side ramp built into the passanger side of the box. This would have been a nice feature for the Econoline. (Econoline just had a step on the side of some models)

man that would be agood feature for most trucks. Even where the tailgate is, a ramp like in moving trucks. Shame that didn't catch on.
