Gas cap for 1971 F250

I purchased a locking gas cap but am not sure if I got the right one?

The one I purchased is made by FRAM and is non vented.

Am I ok with this gas cap?

You are good with a non-vented cap, if there's a line down the passenger side of the gas tank going to a charcoal canister that is mounted to the right frame rail, near the radiator.

On replacement caps for the 68 and 69 I went in from the bottom with a hot needle, burned a pin hole to prevent expansion pressure ballooning the tank.
