turbo removal

I need to take off the turbo on my 1997 California F-250psd. I need to do this so I can get to the fuel pump, which Is leaking. The problem I see is removing the two lower nuts on the oil supply and return. There nust be a special tool for this. I am imagining something like a distributer wrench or something like it. Any body know?

I need to take mine off, too, to replace the o-rings. So I'm riding along on this thread.

yours must be different from mine, (95) . If I remember right I removed the dp, 4 turbo to uppipe bolts/nuts, and 4? pedestal bolts. That was it. It took forever to get some of the rear bolts out , even w/ swivel sockets. I didn't have to mess with any oil lines.

Send me a e-mail or PM. I got a write up w/pics on R&R on the turbo by Dale Isley. Its pretty good info. I'll have to send as a attachment as its a Word Doc.

theres a site that has a good writeup on finding the back bolts on the turbo. just dont skimp on the tools you will regret it if you do. gts motorsports is where the page is. you can see it with a mirror. once you have gotten to it once its a breeze after that. baz's page has the required tools on the removal. the 10mm 1/4" drive u joint socket is one of the big ones that makes a huge differnce getting thoose back bolts out.
