Dedicated FORD Kickdown lever Linkage

Dedicated FORD Kickdown lever Linkage
I posted a thread a couple of days ago about the problem I'm having with connecting the kickdown lever to the 600 Holley on my 68' F100 with a 360 and a C6. It won't reach to the throttle linkage on the carb. I got a couple of ideas and one of which sounds like what I'm wanting to do. Someone said that there is a dedicated FORD independent linkage kit for the kicdown lever. I would like to know if any of you can tell me where I can find this kit. It dosen't appear that it will work correctly by just attaching it "somewhere" on the carb linkage. This is the only thing holding me up on driving this truck. I'm sure that I could just drive it with out connecting it right now, but I'm going to need it at some point. Please help!!!!!!
Thanks,
Bill

Bill, You can bend the one that you have to make it a little longer. Just go a little at a time till you get it.

Forget about it, drive without it, and you will never miss it. If you really need the extra power to pass someone, just drop it into second manually at the collum, and you achieve the same thing. The less often a transmission shifts, the longer it will last. A C6 regulates hydraulic pressure by the vacuum modulator; as long as that is hooked up and functioning properly, the truck will shift just fine.
