Bed size

Ok, bed size. In 97 the 6.5' bed was the short bed and 8' was the long bed, right? 5.5' bed only came on Crew Cabs? Or am I completely wrong.

Yes that's right. This applies to F150 series after 97.

The F150 Supercrews were introduced in 2000 with the 5 1/2' beds. The regular cab and supercab F150s/F250LDs, as well as F250s and 350s SDs could have 6 1/2' or 8' beds. There wasn't a 5 1/2' bed in '97-'99 on F150s.
