1978 351M Horsepower

How much horsepower did a 1978 351M make straight out of the factroy if anyone knows that would be great because im trying to figure out what kinda horsepower my 351M is putting out.

thanks i was searching all over the net trying to find it but couldnt. You wouldnt happen to know any sites that sell complete 1978 beds would you?

Sorry He is high.

The 351M handed out about 136 HP

The 400 was about 148 HP.

a 79 would be about the same wouldn't it? becaus i was wondering about the power output of that motor a well.

in '77 351m hp = 161 and 400 = 173

any one have torque numbers ? i am trying to justify putting a built high output
.030 over 5.0 w/ performer carb and intake , frpp roller B-cam 1.7 roller rockers,forged internals ..stock numbers on this motor was 225hp and 300ft/lbs
in fuel injected form

i dont know about you but those old motors might not of had high numbers but man would they cook and work hard day after day!

still wont work , my company has the site proxy filtered ....

i know that a 400 had to make some monster torque
