Tested Out The Suspension

Well, after I re-did my front suspension today, my d-shaft is now the proper length so I tested out some articulation on the truck tonite.

I found that I need to add some more hard line to my passenger side brake lines, but other than that the truck did very well for its first time being 4x4.

Yeah, I am sure the tubing ride has all the cushiness of a forklift
I saw that brakeline, and was going to ask, but it sounds like you are pretty aware. When I did my lines, I ordered for an extra 3" of lift, but it isn't really that excessive, and gives me room to grow

Hey speakin of gauges in my last post. When I order up my Auto Meter junk is there anything special I need to be aware of? As in electrical or mechanical gauges? Also, I don't have a speedo cable right now, how does an electric speedo work? Or do I get a mechanical? Any advice here would be greatly appreciated, as I hate wiring.

Mustange - better keep the color on the DL for a few more days

looks good man....your losing ALOT of flex with that shackle angle...it is barely allowing the front to compress.... mine was liek that when i first did the rears up front....i had a ton a droop, but hardly any compression

looks good... are you running a small body lift? also, I looked at the pics in your gallery, but see 2 diff setups for you rear, what one did you stick with?

I don't have any pictures with a bodylift. I am running the flipped shackle, which requires a 1/2" body lift under my box to clear. The springs are Skyjacker 4" rear springs for a highboy.

ahh ok, flipping the shackle just gave you more flex, not any lift, correct? are you making 1/2" spacers yourself for the body lift?
