Front Wheel Bearing/Hub

Has anyone found a way to change just the sealed wheel bearing? I am going to do it tomorrow any advise will help. Thank you Jd

if you are talking about the newer 4 x 4, the front hub is purchased from dealer or auto store as a unit with the bearing inside. i have also considereing disassembly of the unit, but am told you can not get the bearing back out in one piece. none of the manufacturese appears to support this with parts. if it could come apart, you would need to go to a bearing house and get a bearing to fit. Im not even sure if the hub has an external bearing race, or if it is built into the hub. if you take it apart, take pictures or give a description of what you see. at worst you screw it up and have to buy a new hub anyway. be prepared for the $$$$$.
