Adding Cargo Light to F/G Tonneau Cover

I want to add a cargo light to the fiberglass tonneau cover on my F150 truck.

I'm somewhat concerned about drilling holes in the cover and also concerned about using self-adhesive tape that won't stick.

Any ideas out there?

I installed a tap and go light from Walmart on the underside of mine. I used velcro to hold it on and thus far it has worked exactly as I wanted. Something else I will end up doing once it warms up is to run an accessory outlet back there. Walmart sells a magnetic light that plugs into this. This way I can obtain much more light and stick the light wherever I want it. Just two thoughts for you.
