Accelerator-to-Carburetor Linkage: 61 - 223

The truck was running fine - then the accelerator pedal got stuck near the floor - vroooom!! Had to pull it up with my foot.

Now, whatever linkage existed between the accelerator and the carburetor seems to be gone. I have a ball from both ends looking for a connector. Please direct me towards the part or parts I need to resolve this.

See if you can find a cable linkage. It is so much smoother then the metal linkage. I oddly enuff found one at the local Ford garage here in Portland, Or. I like it a lot better then the metal linkage.
