2-mos ago I ended up replacing the actuator -This piece of pot metal which when you turn the ignition (key) plunges fwd and Varoooom dugga dugga dugga . While not hard to replace after carefully dissassembly of the steering wheel & collumn shroud , just take your time and save a ton of money I paid $24.43 for this part and now I will have to go back in and replace the turn signal (plastic plate thingie) at $96.00 . I might get this part cheaper at the junk yard / but for me I would rather spend the money for all new and not have to replace for another 10 to ? years JMO Good luck with your truck -Big Dummie
