My original starter motor went out with a brush problem and I picked up a rebuilt from a local guy I have been using for years. The bendix broke in about 2 weeks. Got another and the same thing happened about 2 weeks later. Anybody have any ideas about what could be causing this. I do have the Luk solid flywheel but dont see how that would be an issue. Been running it for about a year now...

 

Get a Bosch rebuilt. Top quality.

 

mine went out 2 months ago and i got one from autozone for 160 lifetime warranty.
