timing a 4.6

timing a 4.6

I would like to know how to time a 4.6 out of a 1996 ford truck. WE need to know where the crank and the cams need to line up because the chains were broke in the motor.

well one problem. you sure its a 4.6????? they did not appear in trucks until 98

They appeared in the 97 F150's when the new bodystyle was introduced.

Well maybe Im worng, but the heads that came off of it said its a 4.6 maybe I rad wrong on the year of it or maybe its not the origional engine.
