1997 F150 Brakes - Front
Am getting extremely fed up with this truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The problem: The front brakes won't release quickly, especially after getting warmed-up. It doesn't happen every stop though. 7 times out of 10 the front driver-side pads don't cleanly release from the rotor. After 10-15 seconds of sitting, foot off brake, in Drive, it will gradually release. It almost feels like a valve (for just one tire?) is not releasing when pressure is released.
What I've done so far.... Have put new rotors, pads, calipers, and have flushed the fluid on the system.
Still pulls on the front left as described above.
Any suggestions? Ideas?
Thank you.

Thanks for all the replies thus far.
Negative.
This is what I thought also. It was doing it with the old caliper and it does it with the new caliper as well. I even took the new one back off, checked the pins, lubed 'em up again, and still get the sticky.
This is my next attempt. When flushing out the fluid, I noticed that the fluid was almost black which would indicate to me that the interior of the tube is breaking down.
When changing out the hoses, do I need to flush the caliper out? A special cleaner? Particular process I should do? How would I know that the caliper is/is not "dirty"?
Well, it seems I have a project for this weekend. Will report back with my findings.
Thanks everyone for their input and help.
Have you done anything else besides what you described to the front end of the truck?Like maybe ball joints, tie rods, axle shafts??? Allignment??
It really sounds like a sticky caliper. Are the calipers lubed up so they slide easily on the pins?
I wonder if it could be a master cylinder going out and not releasing or something like that.

brake hoses - replaced lots of those for same exact problem your describing. They break down internally and allow calipers to stick.
