How cheap are you talking? With the gas prices I have seen a number of broncos up for sale in this area. some in pretty good shape.
My answer to the gas prices was to buy a Harley Davidson Sportster. 50 MPG how can you complain when it comes to just running around town for those little nusance trips?

Check quick quarter, thrifty nickles, classified adds in your newspaper, internet( you can search for a bronco in any mile rainge any price range, etc....) that's how I found mine in great shape from original owner, with new steering gear box, Power steering pump, radiator, dual batteries, etc.... For $1,500 not to far from where I live.

Im in the same boat. im from the midwest and all of the broncos in my area or within reasonable driving distance in my price range are rusted and in many cases beyond repair. im hopin i can find a cheap one with a blown motor or tranny cuz i have the resources and ability to fix that kind of thing, i dont want to mess with rust.
