How do I open the cowl vent?

My cowl vent (1953 F100) opens and closes just fine but there is no handle or, whatever it takes, to open it. Anyone know where I could find a picture of this mechanism? Has anyone filled their vent and have these parts for sale? Thanks......

These pictures may help. The first picture shows the handle (on right side). The bottom picture shows the mounting points.

Hope this helps!

Kevin...a picture is worth a thousand words, thanks soooo much for taking the time to post those pictures. From what I can tell the PO installed an electric wiper off of who knows what. The good thing is, it looks new and works great, bad news, it's right where the cowl vent arm go's. I need to think about this some more. Larry I live in Independence Mo., and I still might buy those parts from you, aah, you wouldn't happen to be going to Goodguys this Fri. at the Kansas Speedway would you? Chuck thank you too, for the offer.

Yes, I'm going to Goodguys. I'll bring it along. I'll be in the red 56 shown in my gallery with a "for sale" sign on it. Hope to see you there.
