So where's Ford's answer to the IH pickup?

Anyone seen these? There was an article in today's paper about it, and I happened to see one near my sisters house...

Anyone seen an International pickup truck? Huge...

I think the Tonka version is the answer... other than that it is a whole new level of truck. I think GM has a huge one like that also right?

Oh yes, what would be called a 6x6 F600 back in the late 60's early 70's....

As for Ford's answer, just go down and order your F600 with a Marmon add-on powered front axle. It's only about a $20,000 option...

To be fair to the IH, I think Navistar is the only domestic commercial heavy truck builder that has their own factory "4x4" setup. Ford and GM have to go to Marmon or somewhere else.

Does anybody out there in FTE land know for sure?

Neat trucks. What I can't understand is why the heck did they put the Corvette clone tail lights on the Ford?

Just another example of toys for people with more money than brains...

I haven't seen anything new form IH but the truck they built last year sucked. The body lines didn't match up at all, the bed was way too high and that left way too much frame exposed. For that kind of money it really was a joke.

Remember the Ford F-650 Super Crewzer a couple of years ago? Same thing. The market for that type of truck is very limited. Mainly people with more money than sense. Anyway, Ford had a real hard time unloading them.
