Are you level?

Are you level?
I went to a local truck show yesterday and noticed that most of the show trucks that were lowered where pretty much level and not much rake, if any at all. I measured mine from the ground to the middle of the fender. The front I had 25 3/4" and the rear was 28 and 1/4". Any opinions on what looks best? I'd be interested in seeing others measurements just for fun.
I took this shot at the show.
You might recognize this truck from Custom Classic Trucks. He's running 20 inch wheels in the back and 18" front. He's level and almost lower in the rear.

I like a truck with a rake. What I don't like an anything is the huge wheels with the low profile tires..........doesn't do a thing for me.
I prefer big and littles with a regular looking tire mounted on the wheel. Not sure what my rake will be yet. I'll be running 15" Cragars.
Just my .02

I've seen some trucks at shows that are level also. It looks good if they are slammed into the weeds.
My 56 has a 2" rake. I like the look a lot, however the biggest reason for it is because I also use it to haul stuff. If the truck was level, I'd be dragging the tail on the road with a load in it. I always though a working truck had to have some rake just to use it.
The only time my truck sat level was when I was hauling the old 351C core back to the shop for my core credit. Looked pretty godd and it rode GREAT!

Beauty is in the eye etc etc etc. Personally I like a wee bit of rake...don't care so much for the really big wheels and I like truck tires to have an aspect ratio (think that's the correct term) of around 60 to 75. Love the rubber band look on a race car and I've seen some street cars that can make it work but I haven't warmed up to it for trucks as yet. My rolling stock isn't cast in stone yet but hope to run same size tires all round and yet still have a little (1 or 2 inches) bit of rake.
