I am just curious to see the different opinions of each! For me, I like the trail riding (sand, hills, finnesse) to mudding (pick your line and try to get through it). Mainly because I run less of a risk of destroying my DD but mudding is also a LOT of fun! What do ya'll think?
Well I'm in GA so there's not any decent trails, hills or sand so the only thing around me is mud. Even if there was some trails or sand, I would still try to find some mud.
I like trails. But I haven't really seen any good trails. It hasn't rained for 23 years here, so any mud we find is sifted for drinking water. There's sand at the beach, but that's about three hours away. I'm not so sure my tires would do well in deep sand anyway.
Here in swampland Florida, you can't trailride without mudding. Attempting to ride much further than .0125 miles on any given trail will result in a driver coming across a partially or completely submerged portion of said trail, this is universally referred to as mud, even though it may sometimes just be wet sand. At this point, a driver has a few choices... back out and admit defeat, creep into it slowly checking for sudden dropoffs, or drive thru it normally like you've been thru it hundreds of times before. Now, since your truck is muddy anyway, might as well go play in the big mudhole too!
but to answer your question... I prefer mudding, mainly because any trails here that dont have mud on them is rocked, there are a few hills and stuff like that to climb but id rather mud any day, give me a old disced up field
I like river runs it's little bit of both. And some water sometimes to play in too. But when you drive a CCLB trail rides are a little hard. Got to love the turning raidus of a CCLB.
mud mud mud and MUD lol stuff like this is fun but i like deeper mud than this guy goes through but gotta give it to this old 2wd http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-i4Klhw9Yk
I used to do a ton of trail riding, had lots of fun but broke a crap load of parts. Usually when we hit trails we were just looking for mud anyhow so now I just mud race. I break less, go faster and if I get stuck, theres always a tractor to pull me out.
