Depends on where I am, and how I feel.
Maybe, I'll drink a glass of iced tea, or eat an apple. Sometimes, I've read a book while eating dinner! (Which is more important. . . . dinner, or the book?)
Popcorn (sprinkled with Old Bay) is good with a good book.
Depends on what I'm reading. If I'm into the book or reading the Bible I only read.Otherwise I'll watch tv or mess with some other things while reading.I have a big problem with drawing in my text books.Get that from mom, even though she hates to admit it.lol
I generally eat more when I read than when I eat dinner and breakfast combined. I gave up on reading at dinner after I kept spilling spagetti on my book
No, I don't do anything while I read. Sometimes I'll scratch myself but that is about it. When I was a kid I was eating a hot dog and dropped a dob of mustard on page 221 of a book on Joan of Arc. The stain is still there. I learned my lesson.
Nothing wrong with multi-tasking! If I'm really absorbed reading a great book, I would continue reading it all day through my lunch as well as dinner...and perhaps in between snacks too. But, when I do this, my focus is the book, not the meals/snacks!!
One must support the system when researching - therefore feed thyself, my daughter/son - else thou shalt wither and die before reaching the end of the "Fellowship of the Ring" trilogy... (+ "the Hobbit" and referring to the "Silmarillon")
Rolled Tacos with guacamole are wonderful in this effort!!!
Funny that no one has mentioned reading in the bathroom.
Well, sometimes I read the poetry on the wall of the library bathroom wall. Things like "Here I sit broken hearted" and other cool stuff like that, you know. Of course I'm often confused about what most of it means so I guess I'm not very good with words of wit and, em, stuff.
i might have a piece of toast while i read the paper in the morning. but most of what i read is books on history and politics and i read like i would study. no snacks, no music.
