injector size/ turbo
Howdy folks!
I am new user to the site and I have a 97 ford f250 PSD with 250,000 + miles and it is going in retirement. I want to add performance products " href="http://www.dpbolvw.net/if116biroiq5B8B9665769CCA78"> performance products to it to make it mean. Can anyone tell me what CC injectors are the stock ones and what size turbo is on it now. I want to switch the turbo and injectors, i would like to go with a stage 3 injector...does that mean i will need a high pressure oil pump to run the injectors. Can anyone please advise me on what I need to do to boost every thing to keep up with the DODGES..the other breed. Thanks ..all help will be appreciated.

You can get new injectors form Alliant power they have a perfomance injector. When I say new that is what they are. There is no used parts in these injectors. They are made by the OE manufacture there part # is AP63802AC.
This is the high-performance for the 94 to 97 7.3L powerstroke. I have used this injector and they worked out every time. You can put the so called stage 3 but all they are is a rebuilted with a tip that has been reworked {bigger holes in tip} to flow more fuel. There is no good flow sepects for any of the 7.3L these sepects were never released. So when you buy at set of reman injectors is the flow matched and to what sepect? This is why I use Alliant power injectors they are all flow matched, and are set to a spect that gives you power and performance, with out all the smoke.
Put a the BD programer by Edge { this is BD Performance programing useing the Edge programer to do the install} sold by BD Performance. When you use both of these on a 97 spd it will give you from a 115 to 135 plus horse power over stock. Plus with different turbo and exhaust and air filter you can get as much as 170 to 215 hp. to your stock hp. But it all costs $$$. The new garrett ballbearing turbo is the way to go big $$$$. 4 inch exhaust turbo back, what ever you like on the air filter.

Welcome thestroker97.
I'm not sure if I understand what your asking, but your stock injectors flow about 95cc's. The most common injector upgrade for your style truck is the"baby swamp" which flows 150cc. You won't need a new HPOP to run them, but you will need a custom chip to get the most out of them. You will also need to upgrade your intake and exhaust as well as installing a set of gauges to monitor your exhaust gas temp and boost. Actually, you should put the gauges in before making any performance modifications.
What performance products were you looking at? The link you posted took me to a whole page of different stuff.

I forgot to mention that i already am running a micro tuner and do have gauges, put the performance I want is not there with that....I really want to be able to drive it and then compete at the county fairs pulling..I guess I should have stated that first but being new to the site I was kinda trying to figure out how to use it.

Once you get bigger injectors you'll want to replace the tuner with a multi pos chip. Tony wildman's the man when it comes to custom programs for larger injectors. Bean has package deals with injectors and chips that include his burns. Like Cookie said ya also need exhaust and intake upgrades to bring out all the potential. My opinion is call Bean's, he sells packages with all you need to really bring that truck to life!

tonys chip and beans injectors work great. thats what im running. i pulled my 225cc hybrids and am now running the tranny savers. im towing alot right now and fuel mileage was a concern, ive been getting 12 mpg towing almost 13k. the tranny savers and stage ones will go good with your stock turbo with the stock exaust turbine on it and not pushing it over 30psi of boost. keep pushing that turbo over 30psi and it wont last long and your getting closer to head gasket limits which seem about 40psi for the stockers. if you were to go to stage 2's the stock turbo will work but its still gonna smoke alot, h2e or something along the lines of that to get more air to burn the extra fuel.

http://www.swamp-donkey.biz/injectors.htm More injectors, Both guys pretty much rule the OBS injector market
There is a guy on TDS who has a '97 with stage II's, an H2E turbo, and a custom fuel system and made 420 some odd HP at the rear wheels.
