Turbo on a 5.4

That's the reason I want to do turbos if for no other reason than it's something you don't see everyday. That and I just love the sound of a turbo spooling up on a bigger engine. In theory would it be possible to put a pair of turbos before the collectors on a set of full tube headers and run some custom bent tubing to the intercooler?

A few Lightning owners have converted to turbo. This thread over on NLOC is a good example of what is being done.

I put a turbo on my 2003 F-150, its got a 4.6 which isn't much different than the 5.4. You would be suprised how much room there is under the hood of those Ford trucks when you take the fan off and the shroud and put electric fans up front as pushers. You could fit 4 turbos in there if you really wanted too.

I personally would choose the T3's, but what are you after specifically?
Improving drag times, or better towing performance? - if it is better drag times you are after, the T4's might be better
I would have been getting over 700hp with 13psi out of a Vortech supercharger with my 5.4 - but I had other things done to the engine to improve its power too, and mine started with 389hp.
mid 400hp would be pretty feasible, and reliable too.
