Prayer Request...
A very good friend of mine called tonight, they found his grandfather dead in the barn. Near as we can tell he had a heart attack or stroke an fell onto his .22, which went off and shot him in the head. What a loss for us... He was like family to me, and almost everyone that knew him.. So please pray for Chris and family, and Me as well...
Thank you all.
Patrick.
Thank you all.

Thanks guys... You have no idea how hard this week has been for us all. I am going to be travelling friday to the funeral, and would like continued prayer for all of us. In the midst of it all, the woman I was hoping would turn out to be more than friends, has rejected me.. We still talk, but she's shyed away.. Right when I need someone the most... She did get me back into Church again for which I will be eternally grateful.

Update:
Friday the 12th was the funeral. It was suicide, the funeral director was able to clear up the entry and exit points. It his us all pretty hard, all we can figure is he had cancer or some other serious illness. He would have never told anyone, but it wasn't like him to do that either....
Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts guys.. It really means a lot in the sad time of loss.

"Dear Father;
We care for our own, and wish them with us
But we know that cannot always be, and we can't forsee our choices
So that we are left in a place that hurts, because we were not ready to let someone go..
But that is not our choice to make, and that time is not ours to choose.
One can only wish that it is better
For they who have left us
And may they be comforted in the life they find
In that which comes after THIS.
Cherish and support those who remain behind
So that they can be at peace with it"
AMEN

Dear Father God,
I Pray that you please be with this family and help support them in their time of need. No matter what the cause may be, the family and friends need you more now than ever before. Help them with this loss and the pain that they may have. I ask that you shall confront them Lord for there are many questions to be answered as to why. Please Father, be with them.
I ask this in Your Name,
Amen.
Tom

I know things are in a state of confusion - not knowing the reason for what happened - but I can assure you that where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is there with them. We are all in agreement here, Patrick, and God knows how to bring order out of chaos...and He knows how to cure a broken heart.
We're with you and yours and so are our prayers.
God bless you all.

I know from experience what you are going through, ok have not talked about this to much, My father past away in 2001 by means of suicide. It was the worst day of my life, I was at work and out on my route, was on my way back when I got a page to call home because emercency. Well called home and my mother said they could not find my father and that his walet and a note was on the table(he never went anywhere without walet), the truck was missing. We called his work and they said he never showed up. I got home and my older brother came over and we were looking around the house , well we found the truck in the back yard, then my brother looked on the side of the house in the driveway where we had an 81 malibu that we were going to sell. Thats when I heard my brother yelling because my father was in the driver seat of the malibu. we called the police and then the morge came and pronounced him dead. We left the house that night and stayed with my grandmas house. It was weird not to have him around the house. For the first few months I would come home expecting him to be sitting at the table read the paper.
Before this we really did not see any signs, but after it happened you look back and pick things out that if you knew what you know after that maybe you could of did something.
After finding different clues we concluded that he had planned this days before.
I am sorry for hijacking this thread but I have not told anybody about this really untill now. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and pfogle as with others my prayers are with you, has I had plenty of close family and friends to give Me and my family that closeness at times like that.
Its one of those things that ya never forget in live, its been almost years and stil remember it like it was yesterday
