Yes, but they don't make the 7.3 anymore. Wouldn't recommend a 6.0 to anyone.

i brag on my mule almost everyday... but... i think that the best testament to and reccomendation of any vehicle is how long someone has is, and how well it holds up... i have known many people who bought brand new and nearly new vehicles that were junk within a few years... and these people didn't beat on them... so those are vehicles i would never buy... now if i get to keep my truck for 10 or 15 years and it runs well and stays in pretty good shape... then that vehicle history will speak for itself.. i already surprise people when i tell them my truck has 93k on it..!

If I could do it all over again, I would try to get the truck ordered one month sooner so that I would not have the pmr rods. I got the truck built the month they changes them over... But its not the engine thats I am worried about, but the trans.

I Would Definetly Buy Another Powerstroke If Something Was To Happen To My Current One (7.3).
Had A 2000 Model With Just Over 200,000 On It (2wd)
There Was Nothing Wrong With It And Never Had Any Problems At All With It, But Wanted A 4x4......so Early This Year I Traded For A 2002 With 31,000 On It. Looked Good, Very Clean. Would Still Be Driving The 2000 Model If It Were 4x4.
Don't Know About Those 6.0 Powerstrokes Yet. Have Heard A Few Negative Things About Them. Not All Bad Things But I Don't Think All The Kinks Have Been Worked Out Of Them Yet.

I'm actually looking at trading my 01 7.3 CC Lariat LB 4X4 209,000 miles and my 05 6.0 Reg Cab XL 4X4 18,256 on a 06 6.0 CC Larait LB 4X4. Both are doing so well I most likely will not do the deal though!!

First off, I will always buy ford trucks. I am the only one to say "have no Idea" meaning maybe so far. The reason I say maybe is because it depends on what they want. I would recommend beyond any doubt going diesel though. Now if I could build a truck from any specs, that'd be a whole nother thread.

i would recommend my 2002 powerstroke. however if they asked me about a 6.0, i would direct them to a 7.3 or a chevy or dodge. my 6.0 sucks, check the problem/mileage thread in that section. >:0
