Found a 1966 F-100 for sale.

It looks mostly complete but looks like it's been sitting for 100 years.

Rusty to say the least.

The hood ornament says it's a v8 but it has a Inline six installed, with everything on it. Probably does not run or move. Good for parts I suppose.

$500 OBO is on the For sale sign.

If anyone is interested PM me and I'll get the phone number off the truck.

I'd be interested in it myself but the truck would need so much work that, anything but a parts truck would probably not be an option. And the DMV back fees would kill I'd bet to make it road worthy.

dmv fees would be close to 3,500 if it has not been paid in about 20 years.

Actually quite a bit more. It's almost $100 a year in back fees and penalties now

But for a parts truck...it is still priced too high unless the interior is in great shape.

It all depends on the "person" behind the counter (ime). My buddy wanted to register a 71 Mach I that hadn't been registered since 85. DMV guy said he had to pay $11241.37 in fees and penalties to register the car

Here's the thing though, we went back about a week and a half later and the lady behind the counter at that time said he only had to pay $650.57 in fines and penalties. So he paid the fees and got it registered and back on the road

Go figure.

That is just plain crazy - did he own the car for all those years? Even for $650 it would be cheaper to title the car in another state, pay their sales tax and DMV fees, buy a license, and they re-title the car in California the following year!

It makes you real worried about buying a project that did not have a current license or non-op papers.

No he didn't own it until 2001. He let it sit for a year until he got it road worthy again.

He almost registered it in NV...but didn't have an address there. So we both got po boxes in case we need them
