FMC credit card?

Does Ford have a credit card that works similar to the GM card? Just wondering, as I've never seen it mentioned anywhere.

They did, but cancelled the program in 1998.

Too bad they cancelled it, I had one and used it for everything, paying it off every month. I think you earned 2% of your pucrchases for Ford points and at least once they had a 5% special period. When the program was cancelled, they sent me a certificate that was worth just over 2000 bucks. I had a certain period to use it and they told me to treat the certificate like cash as it would not be replaced if lost. I locked it in my security box at the bank and when I bought my 00 F350 , I used it. GMC plan is very close and if one would rather buy new vehicles than get air miles, they are good but like all credit cards must be used carefully.

Sometimes I think it worked too well- GM's gotten more restrictive on how much you can use at one time. I've seen people in years past buy an entire car with accumulated GM Card $$$'s.

If everyone had a girlfriend like mine, well then I reckon that would be feasible...
She doesn't mind racking up the odd bill or three
