Cold Air Intake for the 2006 Mark LT....

i just wanted to know if there is anyone here who can tell me if i can put in a 2005 cold air intake into the 2006 lincoln mark lt, since it has the same engine as the 2005 ford f-150 wouyld really like to get the added horsepower already have a 70 series big block flowmaster muffler w a k&n air filter but would like the whole fipk.thanks in advance for any information..

I doubt it. All the intake manufacturers still havent perfected the models for 04/05...so I wouldnt go messing with your 06 just yet. Isnt the stock intake 'cold air' enough?? Its already pulling from outside the engine bay. Just thermally wrap it, and drop in a higher flowing filter(optional), and you have yourself a solid performer.

Sattie, Your Service Advisor should be able to tell you if you have the same stock intake as the 05 F150.I have a feeling they are the same, except maybe badging.Good Luck!

I think I would be more concerned about the PCM and sensors than the physical intake itself. Wrapping it and dropping in a K&N might serve very well for now.

A change in setting in the PCM can make all the difference in an engines reaction to any aftermarket part.
