My 99.5 f250 EXCAB 7.3psd get an average of 13mpg w/city 75 and highway 25% I think the NAPA air filter I added helped.

2002 F250 CC SB 4x4 5.4 with 3.73's. I am stuck at 9 MPG around town, lots of stop and go. On the highway I can squeak out 12MPG, but that is when the overdrive is off! I noticed that with the overdrive on, the gas mileage is worse. Someone posted that the 5.4 needs to rev a bit more to be efficient, over 2,000 rpms, and it has been made a difference for me on the highway.

Gas Mileage

2003 F-250 single cab, 5.4L, A/T, 3.73 axles. During the winter with the plow on 9 mpg--winter, plow off 11 mpg. Now that the weather here in NY has finally warmed up, 12-14 mpg.

How come transmissions do not get shown? Do so many people now have automatics they think that is the norm? Norm is some fat guy at the bar!

Did you correct speedo/odometer for the larger tires? If not, you put more than 265 miles on a tankfull.
