My dealer said that the truck F250 cc v10 was scheduled but thy did not have a build date. I did get my vin though. How long after it is scheduled does it take to get the build date. I do not want to keep pestering the dealer if they do not have any new info but I want all the info I can get.

Not to be a pest but how far out are the buld dates?

If ford does look at this site I would have to say they should make the customer more involved/better informed about what is going on with thier order. Little things like a conformation from the dealer as to how the order was entered (confirm it has all the options you requested) and then have the dealer follow up as to what stage the order is in. I cannot be the only one giddy as a school girl over getting my truck and the lack of information is killing me

 

re: confirmations. I always print out those confirmations (ahem), and I'm sure Jeff does too. Surprises are great, but not on new trucks. If the dealer already has a VIN, I'm guessing a build week of the 18th or 25th. There really isn't that much new information generated by the system on the dealership level- frustrating, because a customer calls and you feel like a moron not having much info to share.
