Jim,

I know you're still looking in on us, and seeing how we're
doing. What I'm about to put down is selfish on my part,
completely inconsiderate and just flat ostentatious, but
that ain't nothing new for me, and you know that.

Things have been set in motion in our Chapter, for the
better. There is a renewed sense of life here, and a real
desire on everyone's part to do something with this Chapter.
I look forward to Ken (ranger240) doing great things with
OKC and the Central Region. Me and Dakota Tim, NoMo
and hopefully one more of us will start opening up Tulsa.
Even our fearless leader Trax is jumping in on things too.
Things are starting to happen, ol' knothead.

But no matter what you're needed here Jim. By me and everyone
else. We have been through so much before- I mean- you were
there for me when I first became Moderator, and you were a true
friend to me even after we went to Chapters. Somehow I know
that I can always email you and I'll hear back. I guess I should be
happy but I can't be.

My friend isn't here with me in the posts. And the thought of you
not being here will never settle with me. There will always be that
hope of seeing you post something- just to know you're there.
Yes Jim, you matter that much. Not only to me but also everybody
else here. I'm sorry that things happened that made you think about
leaving. That can't be undone. But remember what really counts-
the ones in this Chapter and forum who care about you. I need you
here with us, and I'm not the least bit ashamed to beg you to
reconsider. You are my friend, my confidante, and a very important
part of this crazy group of Okies.

Jim, come back. Help us and be a part of this. I need you. And it's
just that damned important. And the others need you here too.
You are a great part of us, and without you Oklahoma FTE is not the
same. Never discount that. Please, Jim. Come back.

I know you'll do as you see fit. But I had to say my peace in front
of every last person here. And they can speak for themselves too.
You count for more than you think with us, Jim.

All pride aside Jim, this Chapter is where it is because of the input from each one of us. This does not exclude you. You are a big part of this Chapter, and we all need you back. Swallow your pride and come back. No begging for forgiveness or anything... just reply to some threads.

Let me throw in on this also. Jim I have never met you but have had some correspondence in the past. I too miss seeing you around and reading your posts. It would be nice to see you back around and let me say that you are one of the group that I had looked forward to meeting when I am able to make it down to a meet so if I can drive all the way down there you had better be there. LOL Anyway I hope you will read these and see that everyone considers you a major part of this chapter and would like to have you with us. In the end I know you will do what is right for you and I can respect any decision you make but just remember you have friends and they care about you.

Hey Jim, just throwing my piece in here, it was really cool to meet you back in February, and you could liven up the meets when people actually attend them. I know how discouraging and upsetting it is to have people say they are going to do something, and then no show, it happens up here all the time. They obviously would like to have you and your wit and stories back, and you are missed. So why not just go ahead and jump in, you really don't gain anything by hanging out on the sidelines. You would have no clue how often I would like to walk on the whole deal, I get so fed up with the talk and no action, but I can't, not yet any way... I have done the silent thing, it's fine for a bit, but there comes a time to just move on, let it go and let people prove themselves, whether good or bad. Maybe voicing what has been buggin you would be best, because there is no good way to fix a problem when nothing is said. Those involved may not even realize what it is that has made you feel this way, and it needs to be settled. Your friend, Roger

 

OK Jimbare what is it going to take to get you to come back, it seems like a whole lot of people need you wisdom and input from time to time. so if you get the chance just drop us a line.
