Pate's swap meet at Texas Motor Speedway. Getting Together at Southeast corner of the parking lot. Email me or pm me. I'll get there around 10:00 AM. If we can't meet at that location then there WILL be a sign to tell you where we are. Going to go eat afterwards at Ryan's or Golden Corral in Keller. Parking is $5.00 and dinner is less than $10.00. Bring a chair and we'll visit awhile. Yall all need to vote where we are going to eat because at least 1 FTE'er can't make the meet but is going to eat with us. Need to know how many say by tax day(April 15) sos we can make sure we know who to look for. I'll send maps and such to all that respond.

Ok here it is, the top is the map of the speedway and the lower link is the link to the directions for Golden Corral. Strongly suggest Quickest route be taken less turns and confusion. We will be on the East side of the speedway. Coming south make the second turn in and straight ahead. Going north take 114 west and 1st turn in. Turn to the right and follow around. We should be on the left. If we are not there we will have a sign up saying where to go. Still eating after the event so bring cold drinks and sandwiches or something if you are there all day.

Glad to see that you're joining us. Maybe ol'yeller will post a specific time to eat. I think he was talking late, but not so late that it's dark while we're caravanning over there. You need to vote on which place you want to eat.

I plan on being there in the morning some time and really and truly don't care which place the group chooses to eat at. I will be happy with either place.

not trying to take control but the Golden Corral is probably the best bet. More room, closer, decent food and i think around 5 to 7 window to eat the meet will probably be done around 5 but probably get to the Corral around 6 to 6:30.

 

Sounds like a plan to me. Re "take control", I appreciate your efforts and look forward to a get togather where folks actually show up.

Golden Corral works fine for me. As we get closer, I think Nick needs an exact time and exactly which Golden Corral we are going to, if that is the final choice.

When I use the second link, I only get a generic expedia.com page. I even cut and pasted the entire link with the characters at the end and still only got a generic page.

If I knew exactly where you were talking about, I would try to get it from mapquest.

Did I miss something about the date of this meet? It could just be that my brains fried from studying...big test tomorrow...or else I just missed it. Does it cost anything to bring items to swap? I wouldn't think so, but I've never been to one before.

I'm with ya xallxforxchristx olyellers link is just a map pate swap meet runs thursday-sunday i'll be there thu.- sat. not sure of spot yet the last 3 years it's been on row 10 spaces 497-500 our little group has like 40 spaces in that one area all together I don't have a lot to sell this year lookin to buy.
