Running wires this week...tips?

Got all the components in the mail to run the stereo system and now it just comes down to the labor. I got the head unit in in about 10 minutes last night cause I was antsy to do something. I know I need to pull it to run RCA's but had to do it. I am looking for tips / tricks or suggestions in running the wires now to power the amps.

My plan is to add two amps behind the rear seat. I will have 4 ga power from the battery, remote turn on, 2 distribution blocks (1 power, 1 grounding) and 2 or 3 sets of RCA's coming from the head unit.

I also need to run new speaker wires to the doors from the amps. Last time I did this I practically butchered my little Contour. Has anyone encountered trouble or found easier ways to do it than the obvious?

Thanks in advance...

T

Truckasaurus, I posted a question last week about running wires for my GPS. Someone (sorry, I forgot your user name!) posted some great step by step pictures. Do a search for "external antenna" and you should find it.

remove the door sill plates it is a wire run on both sides of the truck. I used the stock speaker wire in the doors because I did not want to butcher it also.
