A friend went last year just to watch and said it was a good clean (no idiots) time.

This year I may go with my truck and he with the Iltis.

I probably won't be going this year. It's much more fun to be there now that they've cleaned up the drinking. It could get pretty violent when they allowed people to booze while mudding. I never knew there were so many rednecks in Ontario until the first time I went to Gopher Dunes.

Never been to Gopher Dunes will have to check it out. Doubt I'll be taking my new F-250 thru the bog though....

 

They had talked about postponing it a month due to the weather, but they are going ahead with the Good Friday bash. Looks like you can go mud-bogging in the snow!

 

I was hoping that they would move it to April. Not sure if this Friday will work out.
It would be much better in warmer weather.

 

I have been there about 4-5 times and I love it there......

I have never gone to the good friday bog but it usually is the biggest one they have.

They also have one in September just before the kids go to school in the fall on Sept. 11 I think....I will be at that one with my Bronco (If I get it fixed)

 

Looks like Friday's run will be pretty nasty.
