Has anyone installed the Viper 791 w/ remote start?

I have installed the Viper 791 w/ remote start and I've had some troubles with the remote start function. These problems include:

When its really cold (below 35 degrees) it starts but shuts off after a few seconds due to the RPM's being to high. The system faults and shuts off. It then retries 2 more times with the same problem. After the third time it doesn't try again. After the truck is warm then it starts just fine.

Anyone else have this installed? If so do you have any problems?

If you don't get a response here you may want to try Viper. Seems like there should be some way of raising the rev limit before it cuts off. Just curios, how high does your truck rev? I don't think mine ever goes above 1800rpm when cold starting.

You have not programed your tach wire properly. I have the same unit in my truck and it works fine. Start the truck when it's cold, let it idle for 2 min, shut it off, then start it again and program the tach.
