E-series. Can you put a 2nd door on the drivers side

Heres another ridiculous mod that I think would be worth my time and effort. Has anyone seen a custom "4-door" econoline? Any thoughts? Also what about changing the hinged doors to sliding doors?

I'd like to do that, also. Saw a Ch#&y van at the Auto-alarm/Stereo place that had driverside doors. Seems like an expensive project.

did it belong to that alarm/stereo place? you remember the name of it? all you'd need is a sawzall, a welder and some good luck.

I think it belonged to some who brought the van in to have a system installed. The name of the place is Cartronics, phone# is 305-751-5598. Maybe they'll give out some info.
