Speed Sensor Wire on '01 F-250
I had my AVIC-D1 installed last week. The Speed Sensor wire (Pink) coming from the units' harness is connected to a grey/black wire in the trucks harness (under dash), but the unit does not "see" the speed sensor. This is getting kinda crazy trying to figure out where this connection is supposed to be made. I've been on the net all morning. Can somebody please help!?
My truck is a 2001 F-250 CC 4X4 7.3 litre w/4R100 trannie.
I'm about to pull my hair out (and I don't have a lot to spare)!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Oh well!
According to all of the threads I've read, the gry/blk wire IS where I need to have the speed sensor hooked up. Unless it's different on a 2001 model, there must be something else wrong! I hope that the extension lead just came unpluged or something. I have to pull the dash to figure it out though.
All of the threads I've read refer to newer models, so if there is a difference that someone's aware of, please let me know.
Wish me luck,
