Keep in mind that with clean sweep your not using the factory radio aux in. You connect your audio device (IPod or whatever) to clean sweep. You have to add amps and speakers to the clean sweep unit. Its for changing factory radio output to line level outs with no factory EQ.

I don't see how this corrects the aftermarket sat reciever issues with current Visteon head units. Since now you have to use FM modulation, and FM tuner is limited in frequency response (20hz to 15Khz), so you loose it anyway. This device only corrects an OEM unit if it has rolloffs preprogrammed and has line level outputs then you need the equipment on the other end.

With this unit you can use the line outputs on your sat reciever. You don't plug it into your radio, it plugs in to this thingy and then goes to amps. Just a work around. I am considering this thing cause I want to add amps, sub and better speakers.

You have to buy a set of amps and additional speakers. If you use the same speakers you may have impedance problems since the output amp of the head unit will be attached to the current set of speakers. The only way you could do it using the same speakers is to have a selector switch setup to either allow the sat amps or the head unit to be in use.
