removing the radio

What's the secert to removing the radio in a 02 Escape? I'm replacing the factory CD player with a factory 6 dick changer. Any ideas how to get the old one out?

You need a pair of u-shaped removal tools available at parts stores...or you can make your own out of coat hangers. Insert the tool/hangers in the holes on the radio (vertically), push outward on the tool/hangers and at the same time, pull the radio out. Disconnet the antenna and electrical connector on the back.
