overhead console
#3
I did this, though I have a crewcab with more roof room than a regular cab. But find a shorter overhead console in the junkyard, and you can do what I did. Ford is very consistant in their wiring of door pin switches, so finding a Ford overhead (Explorer?) might be the path of least resistance. Chrysler does all sorts of weird things year to year and model to model. I used a Chrysler minivan overhead, and it was worth a little effort reverse engineering their crazy wiring scheme, I like it very much actually.
