Creaking noise from rear bed?

Anyone running into this or have a clue?

A few months after I got my 6" suspension lift, I am experiencing creaking sounds when I get in and when I hit turns or go over bumps and such. Sounds like it is coming from the rear, and it is very noticeable. Any help is appreciated.

Scott

You might want to check everything that was installed with your lift. Because lifts make your truck ready to hit bigger bumps so the blocks or suspension are probobly completly different than the stock ones. But sometimes the ride gets better with a lift so it may be the truck?

got it too i think its comming from the rubber stopblock on the tailgate. try pushing on your gate to see if you got the sound.

Are you sure from the tailgate? I can literally stand on my nerf bars and shake thr truck and hear the creak. It is getting worse.....

My worse fear is that I go into Ford and they give me the BS excuse that it is my lift doing it.

Wanted some expert opinions before I took it in.,

So where is the stop block on the gate?

Got an idea for you. Get another person out there and while he is shaking the truck with the nerf bars you can crawl under the back and isolate exactly where the creaking sound is coming from. That may give you an answer. Curious as to what you find.

Polyurathane bushings on the new lift's shackles? Gotta grease those things slightly before you put them on. My new shackles squeaked like crazy. I went around the polturathane rubber with a little wheel bearing grease and no more squeaks.
