Hi tewlman,

Welcome to the 6.0 forum and to FTE. Please take a moment to check out the Welcome sticky post at the top of the forum page as well as the other stickies there. Lots of links to great threads and other information. You'll find that the search function works great too.

And for your viewing pleasure, check out the link to the Posting and You public service announcement:

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php

You'll find it tie-wrapped up near the passenger's side tow hook up front.

All the 03's have them. It is hard to find. As Daryl posted, it is tucked up behind the bumper by the passenger side tow eye. Dig around, it is there.

Thanks for this. Just found mine. I bought this truck in the spring and it is going down to the 20s tonight. What is the wattage of the heater?

Wow--this is a way old thread and reminds me of some old friends I haven't seen in a LONG LONG TIME.

IIRC the block heater wattage is ~1500.

Don't leave it plugged in all night, it's equivalent to running a good sized air conditioner or two desktop computers.

Hmm I guess should put it on a timer that turns on about an hour before I need to start it.
