Hi Chris. Sorry I havent gotten around to that list of items that we talked about. I am going to commit one of my evenings between Wed and Fri to get that done along with some other items pertaining FTE.

PS Didnt see you down here over the weekend. Invitation still stands but I will be at work Sat and off to Anchorage Sunday.

Hello, fordf150fx4, welcome here's how to join the alaska chapter...
click on "user cp"
in the window that just opened, under "miscellaneous" (down at the bottom), click on "chapter memberships"
you should then see a window w/ available chapters, just scroll down till you see "Alaska" click on this and go from there.

Your welcome!! Glad to have you aboard. Once Mike and I get things worked out a bit, I have agreed to be the regional contact. Right now with it being summer, and everyones working on projects, fishing, hunting, ect. it's kinda slow on here. But from what I've been told, it'll pick up around here.

PS Chris. No big deal about not making it down. I just got laid off from my second job so I know have some time to finish my garage before the snow falls.

 

Hey Mike, sorry to hear about the lay off....I suppose your refering to the FF. Kinda ironic, you've been putting, now you can start taking!! Good luck! I am going to hopefully catch at least one salmon this year. I've got a little butt in the freezer, but need some silver.
oooppps, you said finish your garage, I thought you said fish (finish) looked close to me, guess everyone knows where my mind is...lol

 

OK, guess I should intro myself. I was contacted several months ago about joining the chapter and I guess my name was put in then becuase when I went to join this morning I noticed that I was already a member.

I have 2 Ford trucks. My first love is my '76 F-250 High-Boy. Unfortunately, it is in Illiinois with my dad. I left it there for him to use when I moved up here. I will ship it up eventually.

I also have a 2005 F-250 4x4 CC V8 that I just bought this weekend at Nye in Wasilla.

I live on Elmendorf, for now, since we plan to stay up here after Uncle Sam is done with us.

Chris.---Nope I still have my full time job. Got laid off from my moonlighting job. All well. Was hoping to keep it until PFD come. Althought I do enjoy my days off. Finally got to sleep in to 10 am a few days ago. Havent done that in 2 years.

 

I will do a general thread but I need to get everyone that has not done so to send me a valid email address. It is the only way that I can attach documents (word, excell, photos, ect) and send them to people. I have racinghoss, fordf150fx4, and AlaskaBoy on the roster but I cant attach the documents that I need to send in a private message. Please drop me a quick note either by PM or Email so I can update the roster. Winter is coming and I would like to get the roster up to date by then. Thanks Guys and Girls.

 

So, any Anchorage get togethers coming up? Some sort of Fall or Fair meet & greet might be interesting.

Nothing in the near future that I know of. Try PM WilliesSD250 (MatSu Regional Coordinator) and see if he has anything planned for the Matsu region. I guess for now he will have to kinda assume the Matsu-Anchorage region until someone from the City want to "Grab the bull by the horns". I wont be coming that way probley until Oct or Nov and that will only be for an overnighter. Come the first week of Dec I will be in town for a week so I will diffently try to get something going during that time.
