Brake Rotor and Pad Suggestions Please
I'm looking to purchase new rotors and pads for my 99 F250. I've looked at NAPA, Powerslot and SP Performance. Does anyone have suggestions, prices? The NAPA are the cheapest and I've never had problems with NAPA rotors in the past but I want to get rid of these warped rotors for good. Any advice on pads to go with the rotors is welcome.

I replaced my OEM rotors with NAPA and they warped also. See post http://fordtrucks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=326155

I am currently waiting for my ART pads and rotors in the mail. Talked to the owner of ART today and he is currently finishing them for me. The cost of ART rotors, with shipping included came to right about 410.00 or 415.00 dollars. I've heard good things about ART rotors....I'll keep you posted.

I definitely recommend ART rotors and pads, one of the best upgrades I've done, well worth the money ($394 front/$380 rear).

NAPA has I think 3 grades of Rotor. The chinese el cheapos(which I am told cannot be turned when they need it), some 5 year warranty rotors and the lifetime rotors. When I was looking for a rotor for my 94 F250, about 3 years ago, I think the relative cost was something like $59, $79, $99.
The dealer sells only complete hub units for something like $250 and the junk yards sold complete hub units only for something like $150.
I bought a Raybest(Canadian made) rotor for about $69 with 5 year warranty from Schucks. It was a beautifully made rotor with great machine work. So far they have worked well for me. I tow an 8,000# trailer and the extra stress has not caused any issues with this rotor.
My prices could be off +- $10 and they were from a few years back in Oregon, but you should have a relative picture.
Good Luck,

I have a 2000 f350 and have the same problem with my rotors. When cold the shimmy is not to bad but once they get warmed up they shake you to death. I've had them turn but it doesn't do any good. Once the heat gets to them it starts agian. I'm looking to replace both front rotors. I see by some of the comments ART rotors are good and some have had luck with NAPA. Any other suggestions. I don't won't to have to do this again in a few thousand miles.
