My 2004 XLT Supercab is now gone, replaced with a ...

2004 Lariat Supercrew 4x4.

I've been wanting to upgrade to a nicer truck since about 30 days after buying the XLT last December 2003. I love these new trucks and dreamed of upgrading to a nice Lariat loaded with goodies.

Pics are in the gallery. It is a cloudy day so they don't show the beauty of the Bright Red/Arizona Beige combination, it really looks sharp.

Details:
2004 F-150 4X4 SuperCrew Lariat
Bright Red Clearcoat with Arizona Beige Accent
3.73 Limited Slip
7200# GVWR Package
Power Moonroof
Power Sliding Rear Window
Trailer Tow Package
Leather Trimmed Captains Chairs
Power Driver and passenger seats
Heated front seats

Why did you bother going from a XLT to a Lariat?? I mean there pretty much the same exact truck but Lariat just adds a little more to the inside? They both ride the same, look very very simiar, same engine, same everything besides a few add on's in the cab? Just my 02 cents, but I have an XLT with every option for this truck and I would not trade it in for a Lariat.

AS400Pro - How much of a hit did you take on the trade-in?

2004Screw - I thought all the XLTs came with backup sensors.

I traded up from an 04 XLT to an 04 Lariat. There are significant differences. It's a better ride and much more solid. The doors tell the tale. Much more solid sound when closing them. The XLT is a great truck, but I would do the same thing in a heartbeat even at the cost loss.

Nah. The XLT is as far as I'd go for it to still be a TRUCK. I had heated seats and leather and all that crap in my last car but this time I wanted a TRUCK that looked like a TRUCK and that I would USE as a TRUCK. (I can't believe all you grocery getters with all these skin creams..er..."swirl removers" etc). The Lariat is an Explorer with a tail! (I hate that short bed)! TRUCK! All that pantywaste stuff in a TRUCK is like putting a bubble on a Harley or something-it just doesn't belong! The XLT has just the right balance of value/features that can still be called a TRUCK. The Lariat puts a sweater on a pit bull! To each his own though, seriously.

Wink Zaino

Now, just put 3 coats of Zaino Z2 show car polish on that Lariat and you are set for a while. Check the pics in my gallary to see how good Zaino is.
Here is the link to Zainos homepage..http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc
