Angry 99 F150 Spark Plug Blowout

I Own A 99 F150 And A Spark Plug Blew Right Out Of The Head Taking The Threads With It. Ford Wont Own Up To It Or Even Acknowledge That Theyve Even Heard Of The Problem. The Truck Has Had 90,000 Problem Free Miles And Then It Does This, I Noticed That Many More People Have Had The Same Problem. Its Going To Take About 1,500 Dollars To Put A Heli-coil In Or Over 2,000 Dollars To Replace The Head. Ford Wont Do A Recall Or As I Said Before, Even Acknowledge Theyve Heard Of It. If Anyone Has Any Input Or Say So About This, I And Many Others Would Be Glad To Hear It. Thanks

The steel insert is supposed to be a permanent fix.I haven't had to use it yet(insert knocking of wood here).I know I saw information about it in these forums somewhere.

I believe you all are talking about this insert, WWW.TIMESERT.COM I believe that they have a kit just for the Ford popping spark plug repairs.

Good luck.
